Initially, our primary clients comprised were police dog units, military units, and canine associations. New dog harness colours and matching leads

Our popular IDC® Powerharness will soon be welcoming some brighter, more vibrant colours. The MoreColor leash collection will also be available in colours matching these new harnesses.

Upon popular request, the handle of the new MoreColor dog leads will be lined with neoprene rubber for added grip and to provide a comfortable hold, even in wet conditions. The lead is made from highly robust recycled materials.

The new harnesses colours will be available in sizes 2XS to 2XL.

The matching MoreColor dog leads will be 1.2m in length, 20mm wide. They’re available with a black or silver carabiner clip for easy and secure

We are pleased to announce that JULIUS-K9® UK will be back at the Crufts this year! We will be in what now is as our regular spot in Hall 1, Stand 1-8.

If you’re coming along to the greatest dog show on earth, pop on by and say hello. Our stall will be well stocked with our latest I IDC® Powerharnesses, collars, leads, and accessories.  We can answer any questions you have about sizing and product care. Will also provide demonstrations on how importance it is to correctly fit your dog harness.

The Crufts dog show

The Crufts dog show is the most prestigious event for dog breeders and enthusiasts in the world, and has been running since 1891, making it 133 years old this year.

The event takes places over four days from March 7^th to 10^th 2024 at the NEC Birmingham.

• Day 1: Thursday 7^th. First event is in the Agility Crufts Novice Cup in the Main Arena at 08:15.
• Day 2: Friday 8^th. First event is the Young Grooming Parade at 08:15.
• Day 3: Saturday

We are very pleased to announce that JULIUS-K9®will be returning to DogFest in Yorkshire and Bristol this September.

The 9^th and 10^th of September dates at Knebworth House, Hertfordshire have been cancelled. This is due to the MET office predicting temperatures over 27 degrees Celsius. These temperatures can get very uncomfortable for dogs, especially if outdoors for long periods.

DogFest have taken the smart decision to cancel the annual event at Knebworth House in the best interests of the canine’s taking part in activities and visiting dogs.

Dogs are comfortable in temperatures between 15-25°C. At hotter temperatures dog’s can overheat, become dehydrated, and suffer heatstroke. Find out more about in our article: Heatstroke and keeping your dog cool in hot weather.

DogFest events in September 2023

DogFest is going ahead as planned in Yorkshire and Bristol:

The greatest dog show on earth is back for 2023 and here at JULIUS-K9® UK we are very pleased to be in attendance at Crufts this year.

We are in the same stall as last year: Hall 1 Stand 1-8. So if you are The NEC Birmingham for the event than make sure you stop by and say hello.

Please remember that if your dog hasn’t been invited by The Kennel Club they are not permitted into the Crufts show.

The Show

This year will see 18,000 dogs competing across ten exhibitions over four days. As well as the competition there are various shows and displays that the whole family can enjoy, including the West Midlands Police Dog Display and the always popular Puppy Foundation Display.

The Good Citizen Dog Training scheme (GCDTS) also has a variety of shows across all four days. The GCDTS is the largest dog training programme in the UK and sets out to teach responsible dog ownership for everyday situations

There’s a lot going on this year at Crufts,

JUILIUS-K9® have teamed up with Nickelodeon to create our latest range of dog harnesses – the Paw Patrol IDC® Powerharness.

These are six versions available featuring every child’s favorite dog heroes in a range of colours and styles:

• Chase the police dog: blue harness with yellow strap
• Marshall the fire dog: orange with yellow strap
• Rocky the recycling enthusiast: green harness with orange and blue straps
• Rubble the construction dog: yellow with black and white straps
• Syke the pilot: pink harness
• Zuma the sea captain: orange with blue straps

DogFest returns for 2022 at six locations across England! We’re pleased to say that JULIUS-K9® UK will be attending all of them.

DogFest 2022 is taking place between May and September:

• Loseley Park, Surry – 7^th & 8^th May
• Ragley Hall, Warickshire – 28^th & 29^th May
• Tatton Park, Cheshire – 18^th & 19^th June
• Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire – 25^th & 26^th June
• Knebworth House, Hertfordshire – 10^th & 11^th September
• Harewood House, Yorkshire – 24^th & 25^th September

There’s a wide range of fun events for the whole family which of course includes dogs with a variety of have-a-go activates for your pet. There are an array of activates for every dog, including hay bale racing, flyball, dog diving, and the behavior zone.

There is also the always popular Fun Dog Show where you can watch dog’s compete for the prestigious titles like Lovelist Lady, Best Rescue Dog, and Best Trick.

Crufts is back for 2022! The iconic British dog show is taking place from March 10^th to 13^th in Birmingham and once again JULIUS-K9® UK will be there. If you are attending the event this year then come by our stall in Hall 1, Stand 8. (The first on the left as you go into Hall 1). We will have a selection of our dog harnesses, collars, and leads on sale and say hello. We will be there every day over the four day event.

Crufts see 20,000 dogs competing for a number of awards, including the world-class title of Best in Show. There will also be a wide range of events happening over the four days including brilliant dog displays, dog training schemes, and a variety of trade stands (including our own).

Of course the main attraction of Crufts is the dog judging, but there are some fantastic events happening that a great fun for all the family. Highlights include:

We are very pleased to announce that JULIUS-K9® UK will be at all three DogFest 2021 events this year!

DogFest is an annual event by dog lovers for dog lovers which celebrates our furry friends in a fun festival style. It has exciting arena displays, expert advice, shopping, food and drink, music and lots of fun have-a-go activities for your dog and all the family.

DogFest is taking place in three locations across England during September 2021:

• Hertfordshire, Knebworth House – 11-12^th September
• Gloucestershire, Cirencester Park – 18-19^th September
• Cheshire, Tatton Park – 25-26^th September

There will be live events from a wide range of dogs, canine trainers, and display teams on the main stage area. These include displays from UK’s best Flyball teams, Police Dog showcases, demonstrations from Conquest K9 and much, much more.

For all those wondering what happened to our Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/JK9UK/) it was removed without warning or explanation by Facebook.

We have been in contact with Facebook over the last few weeks about why they removed our official UK page but they were unable to give us an answer. We were simply told that the page “must have violated Facebook policy”. When we asked for more details on how our page could have violated policy, they couldn’t tell us, or explain in anyway why the page was deleted.

This is extremely frustrating. We have only ever shared blog posts, interacted with customers, and promoted sales and special offers on our page. We have literally no idea how anything we have ever posted could have violated any Facebook policies. Again, they offered us zero warning about this removal, didn’t even inform us it was removed, and couldn’t provide a single reason why it was removed.
